Varun Tej tests positive for COVID-19 after Ram Charan
Well-known Telugu actor Varun Tej has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor himself provided this information by a post on his social media account. Varun Tej further elaborated that he is experiencing mild symptoms of the virus and has isolated himself.
On Tuesday evening, the actor wrote in a post that his test for COVID-19 has resulted positive and has currently quarantined himself at home with all the necessary precautions. He further added that he will be back soon and thanked his well-wishers in the post.
On the same day’s morning, Varun Tej’s cousin Ram Charan notified that his COVID-19 test also came positive. It is to be noted that Varun Tej and Ram Charan attended a Christmas party together in the previous week. The party was organised by Varun and Ram’s cousin Niharika Konidela at her home.
Talking about Varun Tej’s films, he will soon be seen in an untitled Telugu film. Rumours indicate that the film will be woven around boxing. Varun was last seen in Harish Shankar’s film Gaddalakonda Ganesh in 2019. Varun Tej’s character in this flick was of a 40-year-old gangster.
Ram Charan issued a statement explaining that his COVID-19 test has turned out positive and he’s experiencing no symptoms as of now. He also wrote that he’ll get well soon and aims to come back stronger. Ram Charan also requested everyone to undergo COVID-19 testing who have been in close contact with him recently. Ram Charan will be seen alongside Chiranjeevi in Koratala Siva’s Acharya which is slated to be released in the second quarter of 2021.
