Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta shares special plan to mark actor’s first death anniversary; wants to cherish his ‘sweet memories in silence’
As June 14 will mark one year death anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti revealed that she is going on a month-long retreat and will cherish his memories in silence
The Kai Po Che actor Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020. The actor was reportedly found hanging in his apartment in Bandra. His untimely demise sent shock waves across the industry. Post his death, his father filed a case against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and ever since then his fans and family have been demanding justice. Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti keeps him alive in the memories by sharing unseen pictures and videos of the late star. Ahead of the his first death anniversary, Shweta revealed she is going on a month-long retreat.
On Instagram, Shweta Singh Kirti shared Sushant Singh Rajput’s picture and stated that she will be off social media for a month as she is going on a solitary retreat. She said that the memories of her late brother will be cherished in silence. Her caption read, “I am going on a solitary retreat for the whole month of June in the mountains. I won’t have access to internet or cell services there. Bhai’s one year of passing on will be spent in cherishing his sweet memories in silence. Though his physical body has left us almost a year back, the values he stood for still live on…Wishing all an auspicious Buddha Purnima.
On Sushant Singh Rajput’s birth anniversary in January, Shweta had shared a throwback picture from her late brother’s childhood. The picture had him with his mother. She had shared it with the caption, “This smile can melt every heart. Happy #SushantDay.
Sushant Singh Rajput was one of the most versatile actors of Bollywood. He gave prolific performances in many films such as MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath, Chhichhore and more. His last film was Dil Bechara which released after his demise.
